Authors & Reviewers

Who writes and checks this material, what every page goes through before it publishes, and why you will not find a single credential here that you could not verify yourself.

Last updated: October 2026 Applies to: what-is-crypto-currency.com Publisher: Ninja Credit Consultants LLC

The short version

This site is written and reviewed by Ian Lacovara and Jerrica Coyle, and published by Ninja Credit Consultants LLC. Every page is read by a person before it goes live, and every page carries the date it was last reviewed.

You will not find a job title, designation or certification on this page that has not been verified. That is deliberate. A confident-sounding credential is the easiest thing in the world to type, and this site spends several pages teaching readers to be suspicious of exactly that.

What is not on these cards, and why

No designations, licences, certifications, years of experience or employment history appear above. Not because there is nothing to say, but because nothing goes on this page until it is the kind of claim a reader could check.

Our editorial standards commit to never generating authorship or credentials. This is the page where that promise would be easiest to quietly break, so it is the page where it is stated most plainly. As verifiable detail is added, it will appear here and nowhere before.

What review actually means here

"Reviewed" is a word that gets used loosely. On this site it means a specific sequence, applied to every page including the legal ones.

Research against primary sources

Claims are built from the agencies that actually publish the rules: the CFPB, the FTC, the SEC and Investor.gov, the IRS, the FBI's IC3, the SBA. Each guide lists the sources it used, so you can go and read them instead of taking our word for it.

Factual claims verified, never generated

Anything stated as fact is checked against a primary source before publication. Where a figure would date quickly or imply a precision we do not have, the page gives the mechanism instead of a number. That is why you will find very few statistics here and no price figures at all.

Human review on every page, without exception

No page publishes without a person reading it end to end. The reviewer is checking the boundaries as much as the prose: that nothing recommends an asset or a provider, that nothing promises a credit, funding or investment outcome, and that scam tactics are described well enough to recognise but never well enough to follow.

Dated, not silently edited

Every page carries the date it was last reviewed. When something changes materially, the page is updated and re-dated rather than quietly altered, so a returning reader can tell whether what they remember still stands.

Corrections treated as useful, not as criticism

Reports of errors and broken links are read and acted on, and the page is fixed and re-dated. We would rather be corrected than be confidently wrong in public, which is the whole reason the contact route is on every page.

What a reviewer is checking for

The editorial boundaries are the same on every page, and they are the first thing review looks at:

  • No recommendation of any asset, token, exchange, wallet, platform, lender or provider
  • No price prediction, no forecast, no implied return
  • No promise of a credit score, approval, funding amount or timeframe
  • No tax, legal or accounting instruction, only the statement that an obligation exists and where to take it
  • No invented statistic, and no figure that cannot be sourced
  • No scam described in enough operational detail to be repeated
  • No example seed phrase or recovery phrase, not even a fake one
  • No request, anywhere, for a key, password, credential or Social Security number

Where a page sits close to what Ninja Credit Consultants sells, review is stricter rather than looser. The credit and business foundation guides state explicitly what the company does not promise, judged by the same standard the site applies to anyone else making such claims.

How we think about credentials

A financial education site has an obvious incentive to look as authoritative as possible. The cheapest way to do that is to invent a title, and the second cheapest is to imply one.

We do neither. Nobody here is described as an adviser, analyst, specialist, expert or certified anything, because Ninja Credit Consultants LLC is not an investment adviser, broker, law firm, accounting firm or tax adviser, and saying otherwise on a page about avoiding fraud would be its own small fraud.

What is offered instead is checkable: named sources on every guide, review dates, stated boundaries, a correction route, and a disclosures page that says plainly what the publisher sells and what it does not promise. Those are things you can test. A credential in a byline is something you would have to take on trust.

If you are ever contacted by "us"

Neither reviewer, and nobody representing this site, will ever ask for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords, account credentials or Social Security number, or ask you to send cryptocurrency anywhere. There is no circumstance in which that request is genuine.

This site uses two email addresses, both on its own domain: [email protected] and [email protected]. Anything from a different domain claiming to be us is not, and the resources page lists where to report it.

Getting in touch

Corrections, questions about a guide, and anything that looks wrong all go to the same place: the contact page, or [email protected]. No telephone number is published anywhere on this site, which is a deliberate choice.

If you want to know how the material is produced in more detail, the editorial standards page covers sourcing, the policy on tool use in drafting, review, dating and corrections, and the full list of what this site will never publish.

Common questions

Questions About Who Writes This

Why are there no credentials listed next to the names?

Because nothing goes on this page until it is the kind of claim a reader could check. Our editorial standards commit to never generating authorship or credentials, and this is the page where that promise would be easiest to break quietly.

As verifiable detail is supplied it will appear here. Until then the page says what is true: two named people write and review the material, and every page is read by a person before it publishes.

Are Ian and Jerrica financial advisers?

No. Nobody connected with this site is described as an adviser, analyst, specialist or certified anything, and Ninja Credit Consultants LLC is not an investment adviser, broker, law firm, accounting firm or tax adviser.

Everything published here is general education. For anything consequential, the right step is a qualified professional who can see your actual situation.

Does a person actually read every page before it goes live?

Yes, without exception, and the reviewer is checking the editorial boundaries as much as the writing: no recommendation of any asset or provider, no promised outcome, no unsourced figure, and no scam described in enough detail to be repeated.

Every page then carries the date it was last reviewed, and material changes mean a re-date rather than a silent edit.

Which pages did each of them write?

The site does not currently attribute individual pages to individual people. Both named reviewers write and review across all four areas, and content is published by the company.

If per-page bylines are added later, they will reflect who actually wrote and reviewed each page rather than being assigned after the fact.

How do I report something that looks wrong?

Use the contact page or email [email protected] with the page and what looks off. Reports are read and acted on, and a page that needs fixing gets fixed and re-dated.

Broken links reached from our own pages are our mistake rather than yours, and we would rather know.

Someone emailed me claiming to be from this site. Was it you?

This site uses two addresses, both on its own domain: [email protected] and [email protected]. Anything from a different domain claiming to be us is not us.

And whatever the address: we will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords, account credentials or Social Security number, and never ask you to send cryptocurrency anywhere. There is no legitimate version of that request.
