Terms of Use

The terms that apply to using this site. Written to be read rather than skipped, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.

Effective: October 1, 2026 Last updated: October 1, 2026 Applies to: what-is-crypto-currency.com Operator: Ninja Credit Consultants LLC

The short version

Read anything here for free. There is no account to create, nothing to buy, and no paywall. Everything on this site is general education, not advice, and reading it does not make us your adviser, lawyer, accountant or broker.

You may share, quote and link to this material. You may not republish it wholesale as your own or scrape it in bulk. Anything you send us, you are responsible for, and you should not send anything confidential.

Sections 8 and 9 limit what we are liable for, which is the part of any terms page worth actually reading. They are written in plain language rather than hidden in capitals.

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Ninja Credit Consultants LLC ("we", "us", "our"), which owns and operates what-is-crypto-currency.com (the "site").

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple and costs you nothing: stop using the site. If you submit anything to us through a form, the chat, a booking or email, you confirm you are 18 or older and that what you are telling us is accurate.

2. What this site is, and what it is not

The site publishes general educational material about cryptocurrency, digital security, personal financial readiness and business financial foundations.

Nothing on the site is advice. It is not investment, financial, tax, legal, accounting or credit repair advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset or to use any platform, lender or service. It is written for a general audience and cannot take account of your circumstances.

Using the site does not create a professional relationship. Reading a page, submitting a form, speaking to us in chat or booking a call does not make us your financial adviser, investment adviser, broker, attorney, accountant or tax preparer, and does not create any fiduciary, advisory or attorney-client relationship. Ninja Credit Consultants LLC is none of those things, as set out in our disclosures.

Decisions are yours. You are responsible for what you do with information you find here, and for getting qualified professional advice before anything consequential.

3. No accounts, and nothing for sale here

There is no login, no membership and no account to register. Nothing is sold on this site, no payment is ever taken through it, and no payment details are collected.

If you choose to contact us about services offered by Ninja Credit Consultants LLC, any such engagement would be a separate matter under its own agreement. These terms cover your use of this website, not any service you might later buy from us.

4. How you may use what is here

We want this material used. The rules exist to stop it being taken wholesale, not to stop you referring to it.

Yes, and without asking us

  • Read, print and save pages for your own use
  • Link to any page, including deep links to a single glossary term
  • Quote a reasonable extract with credit and a link
  • Share a page with family, a client, a class or a support group
  • Print the Financial Readiness Checklist and use it with people you help

Not without our written permission

  • Republishing whole pages or guides, anywhere
  • Presenting this material as your own, or removing attribution
  • Selling it, or putting it behind your own paywall
  • Bulk or automated extraction of the site's content
  • Editing it so it says something we did not say, then attributing it to us

On automated access: ordinary search engine crawling is welcome, and so is anything that helps people find a page. What is not permitted is systematic bulk copying of the site, whether by scraper, crawler or any other automated means, to build a competing resource or a dataset. If you want to use this material at that scale, ask.

5. Our content and our name

The text, structure, diagrams, design and code of this site are owned by Ninja Credit Consultants LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. "Ninja Credit Consultants", "I Ninja" and the logos used here are the marks of their respective owners, and nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them.

Where we describe a government agency, nonprofit or company by name, those names belong to them. We claim no affiliation with, or endorsement by, any organisation named anywhere on this site.

6. What you send us

When you send us a message, a chat, a booking note or an email, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to use it for the obvious purpose: to read it, reply to it, and keep a record of the exchange. How we handle it is covered by our privacy policy.

You are responsible for what you send, and you agree not to send anything unlawful, infringing, abusive or deliberately false.

Please do not send us these

Never send a seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, wallet password, account password or your Social Security number. No form on this site has a field for any of them, we will never ask, and anyone requesting them in our name is impersonating us.

Also avoid sending sensitive personal or financial detail you would not want sitting in an email inbox. A message to us is not a secure channel, and nothing you send creates a confidential or privileged relationship. If you send us something we should not be holding, we will delete it rather than keep it.

7. Things you agree not to do

Ordinary use of a website is fine. This section is about the unordinary.

  • Interfering with the site, its hosting or its security, including attempting to gain access you were not given
  • Scanning, probing or testing the site's vulnerabilities, or circumventing any protection on it
  • Introducing malware, or using the site to distribute it
  • Overloading the site with automated requests
  • Submitting forms in bulk, or using them to send spam or abuse
  • Impersonating Ninja Credit Consultants LLC, its staff, or any other person
  • Using this material to promote a scheme, a scam, or any service we would not endorse, in a way that implies we do
  • Using the site for anything unlawful

We may block access, restrict use of the forms, or decline to correspond further, where any of this is happening. We do not have to warn you first, though we generally would.

8. No warranties, and what that honestly means

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

That is the standard wording. Here is what it actually means, which most terms pages leave out:

  • We try hard to be accurate and we do not guarantee it. Pages are researched against primary sources, reviewed and dated, and they can still contain a mistake or become out of date as rules, platforms and tactics change.
  • We do not promise the site will always be available, or that every link will work. Agencies reorganise their sites and platforms go down.
  • We do not warrant any outcome. No investment return, credit score, approval, funding, tax result or recovery of lost crypto is promised anywhere, as set out in our disclosures.
  • We cannot tell you whether a specific platform, token or person is legitimate, and nothing here should be read as saying one is.

If you find something wrong, please tell us through the contact page. Corrections are read and acted on, and that is a more useful protection than a warranty would be.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ninja Credit Consultants LLC and the people who work with it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity, or any investment, trading, credit or business loss, arising out of or connected with your use of this site or anything you read on it, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100.00). That figure is low because this site is free, nothing is sold on it, and you pay us nothing for reading it.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of sections 8 and 9 may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

What this section is not doing

It is not a way of saying the content does not matter. Every page on this site carries a review date, names its primary sources, and states what it will not claim. A liability limit is what a free publisher needs in order to publish at all. It is not a licence to be careless, and we do not treat it as one.

10. Links to other sites

This site links to third parties, mostly government agencies and nonprofits. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything a site contains, and addresses change over time.

We add no tracking parameters to any outbound link, which is checked rather than assumed. Once you leave this site, the terms and privacy policy of wherever you land apply instead of ours.

11. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with enough detail to identify it: the page address, a description of the work you say was copied, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised.

We will review it and remove or correct anything that should not be there. We would rather hear from you directly than have you discover we ignored it.

12. Changes, ending access, and governing law

Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page changes when we do, and material changes will be reflected there rather than made quietly. Using the site after a change means the current version applies, so the date is worth a glance if you rely on something here.

Changes to the site. We may add, change, re-date or remove pages at any time. We are under no obligation to keep any particular page available, though we try not to break links, and the site's error page suggests the closest match when a page has moved.

Ending access. You can stop using the site whenever you like. We may restrict or end access where section 7 is being breached. Sections 5, 8, 9 and 12 continue to apply afterwards.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in California will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

If a clause fails. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply, and the unenforceable part is read as narrowly as needed to make it valid. Not enforcing something immediately does not waive our right to enforce it later. These terms, together with our privacy policy and disclosures, are the whole agreement between us about your use of this site.

Contact. Questions about these terms go to [email protected] or through the contact page.

One thing this page is not

These are the terms on which we offer this website. They are not legal advice to you, and they do not create any professional relationship. If you need to know how any of this applies to your own situation, that is a question for your own attorney.

Common questions

Questions About These Terms

Can I quote or share pages from this site?

Yes. Link to anything, quote a reasonable extract with credit and a link, and share pages with family, clients, a class or a support group. You can print the Financial Readiness Checklist and use it with people you help.

What needs permission is republishing whole pages, presenting the material as your own, selling it, or extracting the site in bulk by automated means.

Does reading this site make you my financial adviser?

No. Reading a page, filling in a form, using the chat or booking a call does not create any advisory, fiduciary or attorney-client relationship, and Ninja Credit Consultants LLC is not an investment adviser, broker, law firm, accounting firm or tax adviser.

Everything here is general education. Decisions about your own money are yours, and for anything consequential the right step is a qualified professional who can see your situation.

Why is your liability limited to one hundred dollars?

Because the site is free, nothing is sold on it, and you pay nothing to read it. A liability limit is what lets a free publisher publish at all.

It is not a licence to be careless. Every page names its primary sources, carries a review date and states what it will not claim, and corrections sent to us are acted on.

Do I need an account to read anything?

No. There is no login, no membership, no paywall and no email wall. Every guide, the glossary and the resources page are open.

Nothing is sold on the site and no payment is ever taken through it. If anyone asks you to pay for access here, that is not us.

Can I use this content to train a model or build a dataset?

Not by scraping it. Systematic bulk copying of the site by scraper, crawler or any other automated means to build a competing resource or a dataset is not permitted without our written permission.

Ordinary search engine crawling is welcome, and anything that helps people find a page is welcome. If you want to use this material at scale, ask us.

Is there an arbitration clause?

No. These terms contain no arbitration requirement and no class-action waiver, so nothing here signs away your access to court.

Section 12 sets out the governing law and where disputes would be heard.

What if something on the site is wrong?

Tell us through the contact page. Pages are researched against primary sources and dated, and they can still contain a mistake or go out of date.

Corrections are read and acted on, and the page gets fixed and re-dated. We would rather be corrected than be confidently wrong in public.
