In one paragraph
This site is published by Ninja Credit Consultants LLC, a company that sells financial education services. Everything here is general education, not advice. The company is not a lender, broker, investment adviser, law firm, accounting firm or tax adviser, and it promises no funding, approval, credit score or investment outcome.
There are no affiliate links, referral links, sponsored posts or paid placements anywhere on this site, and no company pays to be mentioned. The one commercial interest is stated plainly below: the publisher would like some readers to become clients.
1. Who operates this site
What Is Crypto Currency? is owned and operated by Ninja Credit Consultants LLC. The site is built and hosted on a platform provided by I Ninja LLC, which is credited in the footer of every page.
Correspondence about anything on this site, including corrections, goes to [email protected]. No telephone number is published, which is a deliberate choice rather than an omission: a number that is not monitored is worse than an address that is.
2. Education, not advice
Everything published here is general educational information. It is written for a general audience and cannot account for anybody's individual circumstances, so it is not and does not become advice by being read, acted upon, or found useful.
Specifically, nothing on this site is:
- investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset
- financial, retirement or insurance advice
- tax advice, or guidance on how to report anything
- legal advice, including on entities, contracts or compliance
- accounting or bookkeeping advice
- credit repair advice, or a strategy for disputing anything
- a solicitation or offer to sell any security or commodity
Decisions about your own money are yours, and for anything consequential the right step is a qualified professional who can see your actual situation. Our editorial standards set out what this site will and will not publish, and the resources page lists free government and nonprofit sources.
3. The commercial relationship
This is the disclosure that matters most, so it is not buried at the bottom.
This site is not a neutral publication. It is published by a company that sells services, and it exists in part so that some readers become clients. Pages about credit and business financial foundations sit closest to what Ninja Credit Consultants actually does, and those pages link to a conversation with the company.
That interest is the reason for the rules the site holds itself to:
- no page recommends a purchase, an asset, a platform or a provider
- no page promises a credit, funding or investment outcome, including on the pages selling education about those subjects
- pages about credit state explicitly what the company does not promise, using the same standard applied to anyone else making such claims
- the resources page lists free nonprofit alternatives, including ones that overlap with what the company sells
- no reader has to buy anything to use any part of this site
The test we try to pass
A reader should be able to take everything useful from this site, never contact us, go to a nonprofit instead, and still have been treated honestly. If a page only works as education when it also works as a sales pitch, the page is wrong.
4. No affiliate links and no paid placement
As of the date at the top of this page, and across every page of this site:
Not present anywhere
- Affiliate links, referral links or revenue-share links
- Sponsored articles, paid reviews or paid placements
- Advertising, banners or promoted listings
- Tracking parameters added to any outbound link
- Links to exchanges, wallets, trading tools or anything sold to crypto buyers
What outbound links are
- Government agencies, for reporting and free guidance
- Nonprofits and free public services
- The operator's own sites, labelled as such in the footer
- Chosen on merit, with nobody paying for inclusion
If this ever changes, this page changes first. Were the site to add an affiliate relationship, accept payment for coverage, or run advertising, that would be disclosed here and labelled on the page where it appears, before any such link went live. A disclosure page that lags behind the site is a statement that has quietly stopped being true, which is worse than having no page at all.
5. What is not promised
No page on this site, and no conversation that starts from it, promises any of the following. This is stated here in one place because these are precisely the promises used to sell both crypto schemes and predatory credit services.
- any investment return, profit, yield or price movement, and no prediction of any asset's future value
- any credit score, score increase, or score by a particular date
- the removal or deletion of accurate information from a credit report
- any loan, credit limit, approval, funding amount or business credit profile
- any timeframe for a credit, funding or financial result
- recovery of lost, stolen or mistakenly sent crypto, by us or by anyone
- any tax outcome, deduction or treatment
- that any platform, token, service or person described anywhere on this site is safe, solvent, legitimate or suitable for you
Nobody can promise these, including us
That is the point of the list. A company that sells financial education has every incentive to imply outcomes, so the honest move is to write the limits down where a reader can hold us to them. If you are ever told otherwise by anyone claiming to represent this site, it is not accurate, and the contact page is where to tell us.
6. What we will never ask you for
No form, page, email, chat assistant or conversation connected with this site will ever request:
- a seed phrase, recovery phrase or private key
- a wallet password, passphrase or wallet access of any kind
- a password or login credential for any account
- your Social Security number
- bank, card or exchange account credentials
- a transfer of crypto or cash to any address or account
Anyone asking for these while claiming to be us is impersonating us. No legitimate company, support agent or government agency needs any of them either. Our guides on keys and seed phrases and protecting your assets explain why.
7. Crypto risk
Stated once, in plain terms, because much of this site is about cryptocurrency:
- Crypto assets can lose value quickly and completely. Losing the entire amount is a realistic outcome, not a remote one.
- Crypto transactions are generally irreversible. A payment sent to the wrong address, or to a fraudster, usually cannot be recovered by anyone.
- Crypto held in a wallet or on a platform is not insured by the FDIC, the NCUA or SIPC, whatever a platform's marketing suggests. If a platform fails, there may be no protection at all.
- Whoever holds the private keys controls the asset. Lose them, and there is no password reset and no recovery.
- Rules, tax treatment and platform availability change, and differ by state and by country.
None of this means crypto is a scam, and none of it means it is a good idea for you. It means the risks are real and belong in front of anyone making a decision.
8. Authors, reviewers and testimonials
The site's authors and reviewers are named and pictured on the authors and reviewers page: Ian Lacovara and Jerrica Coyle. Content is published by the company rather than attributed page by page to an individual, and every page is read by a person before it publishes.
No licence, certification, designation or job title beyond "author and reviewer" is claimed for anybody, because none has been verified for publication. No page says that an expert, a licensed professional or a certified specialist wrote or reviewed it, and nobody here is described as an adviser, analyst or specialist of any kind.
That restraint is the honest version. Inventing a credentialled byline would be trivial and is exactly the thing the scam pages on this site teach readers to look for. As verifiable detail is supplied it will be added to the authors page and reflected here, in the same pass.
No testimonials, reviews, endorsements, customer results or case studies appear anywhere on this site. If any are published in future they will be real, obtained with permission, and disclosed in line with Federal Trade Commission guidance on endorsements, including whether anything was given in exchange. No fabricated or representative-but-invented result will ever be published.
How content is produced is disclosed too. Our editorial standards page sets out, in full, which tools may be involved in research and drafting, that factual claims are verified against primary sources rather than taken from any tool's output, that a person reviews every page before it publishes, and that authorship and credentials are never generated. Most sites either stay silent on that or bury it. It is stated there because readers increasingly and reasonably want to know.
9. Third-party links and accuracy
This site links to third-party sites, mainly government agencies and nonprofits. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything a site contains. Addresses and page structures change, and a link that worked at the review date may not work today.
Content here is written to be accurate as at the review date shown on each page, and pages are reviewed and re-dated rather than silently edited. Even so, this field moves quickly: figures, rules and platform behaviour change, and mistakes happen.
If something here is wrong, please tell us. Corrections sent to the contact page are read, and a page that needs fixing gets fixed and re-dated. We would rather be corrected than be confidently wrong in public.
10. Scope, changes and contact
This site is written for readers in the United States. Laws, agencies, protections and tax treatment described here are US ones and may not apply where you live. Nothing here is an offer to provide services in any jurisdiction where doing so would require a registration or licence the company does not hold.
These disclosures may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and material changes will be reflected there rather than made quietly. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.
Questions about anything on this page can go to [email protected] or through the contact page. See also our privacy policy, terms of use and editorial standards.
One thing this page is not
These are statements about this site, made by its operator. They are not legal advice to you, and they do not create any professional relationship. If you need to know how any of this applies to your own situation, that is a question for your own attorney.
